Our Team
Petra Mikulan
Petra is a time ecologist, an evaluator and educator whose work sits at the intersection of research, teaching, and writing. Her evaluation practice is shaped by an established body of research on time, education, and social transformation. She is the author and editor of multiple books and articles that examine how inherited models of progress, efficiency, and measurement quietly shape what institutions are able to see, value, and sustain. Petra has led and evaluated funded projects across education, climate justice, anti-colonial and equity-focused initiatives, supported by over $400,000 in competitive research funding. Alongside her evaluation work, she teaches at the University of British Columbia and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University and Affiliate Faculty at the Centre for Climate Justice.
